Frequently asked questions

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, open Settings, then Account Management, and start account deletion. Your account will be signed out on all devices and enter a seven-day withdrawal period. After that period, we delete or anonymize information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Does an anonymous post reveal my identity?

Other users cannot see your avatar or profile name on an anonymous post. NightAsk retains an internal account association only for moderation, report handling, and appeals.

How do I report a question, answer, or message?

Open the safety menu on the relevant content, choose a reason, and add any useful details. You will receive a ticket number and may block the other user at the same time.

Are video calls recorded automatically?

No. A call report includes the call identifier, time, and your description. Audio and video are not recorded by default, and media permissions are requested only after you choose to start or answer a call.

Can virtual tokens be withdrawn or refunded?

Tokens are usable only for question promotion inside NightAsk. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for real-world value. Purchase refunds are handled under the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play rules.
